just..good quotes.

we came across this one and decided to put it above our toilet. haha. It makes my day every time I go in there. So I thought I would share it with you.

Breaking up is hard to do...

Meet JAYCE.

{pronounced J-C.}

I tutor him! Every Monday and Wednesday. We read a bunch of really good books. Right now we're reading "Big Red." Did YOU read that when you were in 5th grade? haha. I did.

Also...A few weeks back Cody sat on mine and Abby's summer project..and he broke it. And today we decided that it was taking up too much room...and it just needed to be thrown away.

It was a really hard thing to do. :(

And Last, but definitely not least, I just got back from my friends' first flag football game! I will hopefully post the pictures of that soon.

Did I mention that they kicked butt?!

they did.

I'm going to go study for my spanish test tomorrow! Have a wonderful night! Think happy thoughts!!

Love, Kay.

Today.

  • I slept through my first two classes...
  • But I did make it to Biology.
  • I re-filled four water bottles so as not to be a waster. Go Green!
  • I don't feel hungry at all.
  • I have drunk a lot of apple juice.
  • I don't have too much homework to do, but I do have to teach myself the Spanish that I missed today.
  • I have already done my personal scripture study. :)
  • I am quite excited for 6:30 p.m. to arrive, because then I get to go read to little children during story hour at the Cedar City Public Library.
  • I am excited for tutoring tomorrow. Jayce is progressing a lot already!
  • I have had the opportunity to dance and sing with my two wonderful roommates Abby and Kelsey to the marvelous Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" and Whitney Houston's "I will Always Love You."
  • I should straighten up my bathroom.
  • I should also do some laundry.
  • I am going to run an extra 2 miles at the gym for ending 2 miles early yesterday.
  • I am in love with the song "Oh Darling I love you so" by Plugin Stereo ft. Cady Groves.
  • and also the song playing on my blog.
  • I went to institute for the first time.
(Can I just say that I have MISSED that? I definitely took seminary for granted. Going from having seminary everyday with school, to not..is...hard. I missed it. I'm glad that I now know when I signed up for. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00. :) yayy. )
  • Matthew and I decided that we are gonna go home for General Conference!
  • I'm excited for that because papa cooks really well for conference..
The end.

It was fine because in the end, we won 22 to 3. It was a blow out. We killed them!!! And this is what I did instead...

and that's just a few of them.... :)
As you can tell, we're having a lof of fun.
Go SUU!

Dear Blah-g,

9.03.2010

I'm sorry that you have become BLAH since I have hardly taken any time to update you as of late.

What the story is,
is that I am loving college to the highest degree.

People were right, you know. SUU is a party school. but that doesn't mean that we don't get our work done! I swear we do. We just always get it done by 5, and THEN the partying gets done.

Let me tell you a little about my experience in the classroom first.

I actually love my classes. Well. Most of them. I'm taking Spanish 1! Did you know?? and I LOVE it. I have it Monday-Thursday. Right now we're learning how to tell time. I'm pretty good at learning languages, I think. Cause.. I feel like I'm learning really fast..and. anyway. It's fun. It's my favorite class. And then of course...I'm an English nerd..so I'm loving that too! Although, we haven't had the opportunity to write any papers yet. I'm getting excited for that though!

....

Okay. So those are the only two classes I really like. But the others are bearable.

What I really enjoy about college though, is that I have made so many new friends since being here! And we have so much fun every single day. I don't know how we do it..we just do. Take last night for example...We played the game Ultimate Uno (also known to some people as Mau) with ten people..and it was hilarous and intense and...haha. Some people were getting really upset. Like..Cody...he doesn't like to lose.

Other activities include: Going to Jeff Nye, the stand up comedian.
